The Cape Town Eisteddfod, founded in 1903, is a vibrant non-profit organization (NPO number 297-567) dedicated to nurturing young talent in music, art, and creative writing. While its live music adjudications are concentrated in the Western Cape, the Eisteddfod also offers an online section, allowing participants from across South Africa to showcase their talents. Over the years, even schools from Zimbabwe have taken part, highlighting the Eisteddfod’s growing reach. With certificates, awards, and a grand Prize Giving, this prestigious event continues to inspire and support aspiring artists, musicians, and writers.
